The only carrier who will carry a sub 12 ftlbs air rifle is ParcelForce. According to their rules, it must be sent using the ParcelForce 38 service only. It generally costs around £13 each way in postage, depending on the wieght of your rifle.
Please note that all other carriers will accept your parcel, but if it is opened by them, they will seize the contents as firearms are prohibited items.

PLEASE NOTE THAT THE POST OFFICE DO NOT OFFER ENHANCED COMPENSATION FOR AIR WEAPONS. DO NOT BUY IT IF OFFERED. THEY ONLY GIVE STANDARD COMPENSATION UP TO £100.
We do not require you to send your scope or sound moderator (silencer). Only send the sound moderator if you are experiencing accuracy issues. We may levy a small charge if we have to rectify the internals of your sound moderator in order for your pellet to shoot straight.
